Sandra Murzyn | Represented by Portraits Incorporated
Sandra Murzyn is an award-winning portrait and landscape artist whose work has been celebrated in prestigious juried exhibitions across the United States. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Portrait Society of America, where she continues to contribute to the advancement of representational art.
Sandra’s career began in advertising art direction and design before she dedicated many years to her family and a family manufacturing business with over one hundred employees. Eventually, she returned to her true calling in the fine arts, devoting herself to portraiture and representational painting. From childhood, she has been immersed in the arts, maintaining both passion and professional engagement across a wide spectrum of disciplines.
She has studied independently with many renowned masters including Dawn Whitelaw, Michael Shane Neal, and Everett Raymond Kinstler. Sandra’s philosophy is that “Fine art should be a way of life,” and she embodies this by supporting organizations such as the Portrait Society of America, Broadway Museum of England, Artist Fellowship, Congenital Heart Gala (Wisconsin), Rahr-West Art Museum (Wisconsin), The Players Club (New York), and the Manitowoc Public Library.
Among her most notable projects was designing and overseeing the backdrop for the Milwaukee Ballet’s production of The Giant’s Garden. She also created a deeply meaningful charitable portrait for the publication and tour of Portraits of Hope, which supports the Lovelady Center of Birmingham, Alabama.
Ms. Murzyn is represented professionally by Portraits, Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama.
